Golden Hills Preserve
We offer a variety of different types of cover. We plant corn and sourgam mixed with suflowers and buck wheat and strips of warm season grasses. We plant in stripes to make quartering easy. The game farm offers quail, chuckars, pheasants and guinea hens which flush and fly like a pheasant and are reasonably priced. We offer the use of our dogs with guided hunts. Hunters are welcome to use their dogs and if help is needed we will mark the birds. We offer to hunt our experianced dogs with an inexperienced dog.
Our season runs from Sept 1st through March 31st.
